Me and my family (excluding my second brother who stayed at home to game) reached the Ancient Civilization Museum at about 4pm. We walked into the museum which was sorta cool, in a way. But then suddenly I saw so many birds and animals and insects that were "preserved with chemicals" on display and I felt kinda sick to my stomach. There was this unsettling feeling in me so I got out almost immediately. LOL. Then there were some food stalls around so I had some Laska! It's been long since I ate Laksa, man.
Then we sat down somewhere around and waited for the parade to start. I didn't know I was so tired until I dozed off beside my brother. He dozed off, too. LOL. Then suddenly I woke up then ate some more stuff, then walked around the area with my brother. Saw Cari and Tracy and the Interact Club people. They were doing CIP I think. Then Tracy thought my brother was my father. LOL HAHAHA. Joke.
Then continued walking around, took many pictures with my brother at the bridge. I don't know what's that bridge called. LOL.
Then the parade began. We watched it on this large screen. There wasn't anything interesting except for all the helicopters and aircrafts and stuff. It was quite cool 'cause the helicopters and aircrafts actually flew past our area above our heads even before reaching Marina Bay. So we had the first hand of those flying machines! LOL.
Then blah blah National Anthem blah blah Singapore Pledge at 8.22pm. Why was there a pause between "achieve" and "happiness"?!?! Zzz. OK nevermind. Then blah blah sing song talk crap with my brother then suddenly got fireworks! So many beautiful fireworks haha! Yeah we saw the fireworks live. Damn cool, I love the popping sound the fireworks make.
But I think it would have been cooler to watch if sitting in the Stadium itself. Like I did a few years ago. There was one year where my family and I got the tickets to Padang then we sat at the last few rows then they gave us umbrellas! They said it was to ensure that in case the fireworks dropped on us, at least we got shelter LOL. Damn cool. The umbrellas were transparent! LOL.
OK anyway after the parade finished (I thought the parade was quite short, actually), we went home in the comfort of my dad's car HAHAHA. If I had went with Yuching they all I would have had to walk back from Marina Barrage to the MRT station which was damn far! LOL sorry for rubbing it in, guys. Haha.
Today was boring.

This sucks. LOL. Emotions make humans amazing, but feeling vulnerable is so sickening. It's like getting a bad cough. Your throat is itchy and everything, and there's this choking sensation but there's nothing you can do about it except eat medicine and wait for it to go away.
The only difference between this and a bad cough? You know you want this. Somehow you want this. Oh, and there isn't any medicine strong enough to get rid of this. You need your willpower. But your willpower is questioning yourself, your heart.
Dammit.
